BIOspektrum is featuring our protein stabilization technology and the INCYPRO team.
The article can be found here (German, open access: PDF). Read more about INCYPRO here: Pelay‑Gimeno et al., Angew. Chem., 2018
Nina was awarded a scholarship by the Studienstifung des deutschen Volkes. Congratulations!!
In her master project, Nina develops strategies to target protein-protein interactions in the Wnt signalling pathway. Read more about our Wnt targteing efforts here: Dietrich et al., Cell Chem. Biol., 2017
Our INCYPRO technology is now implemented by Incircular Biotechnologies to stabilize proteins and enzymes for biotechnological and biomedical applications. We are suppored by Innovation Exchange Amsterdam, the European Research Council (ERC Proof-of-Concept grant) and VU Universtity Amsterdam.
If you want to learn more about INCYPRO and its implemenation follow Saskia on twitter @SaskiaNeubacher and read here: Pelay‑Gimeno et al., Angew. Chem., 2018 (open access: PDF).
We’re happy Shymaa Sayed (from ENS Paris-Saclay) as well as Nina‑Louisa Efrém, Inez Koornneef, Brecht Ellenbroek and Steven Frölke (all from VU Amsterdam) join our group!
Jordy joins our group as a postdoc supporting the stabilization of peptide and protein structures.
Our ERC Proof-of-Concept proposal has been selected for funding. This will support our efforts to pursue the valorization of INCYPRO.

Our article “Coiled-coil peptide beacon: A tuneable conformational switch for protein detection” (C Mueller, TN Grossmann*, DOI: 10.1002/anie.201811515) was featured as inside cover by Angewandte Chemie.
Arne successfully defended his PhD. His work paves the way for our RNA-targeting efforts!
